The Company:

The client is a multi-platform, Arabic-language news service with headquarters in the U.A.E. The platform will provide Arabic-speaking audiences around the world with news

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the annual marketing plans for the Digital Platforms including market analysis, strategies, measurable objectives in terms of viewership and revenue, communication plan and budget
  • Optimize partnership with internal Branding unit to get the best quality/creativity on Brands (whether through internal or external commissioning selected by Branding)
  • Develop a comprehensive marketing calendar that includes major activities such as: existing/new program launches, seasonality, others.
  • Experience in understanding and developing strategies in reference to our targeted audience behaviours, characteristics & trends, and competition 
  • Hands on experience about copy writing, media habits research, media planning and media buying
  • Be aware of cultural relevance and sensitivities and have an in-depth knowledge of the Saudi and Pan Arab consumer/market dynamics

Skills Required:

  • 9+ years of professional marketing (ideally brand/communications management) experience with a reputable online/media organization and/or digital agency
  • Marketing experience in the Arab world for internet or digital related brands – is a must
  • Digital marketing & Marketing Communication knowledge & experience
  • Hands on experience of a wide range of marketing techniques and concepts
  • Fluent in Arabic and English
  • Reliable, organized and confident to work independently and efficiently under pressure
